Key takeaways

  • Trojan is a Solana-only trading bot plus a web terminal. It charges 1% per successful trade, or 0.9% if you joined through a referral link.

Trojan is a Solana-only trading bot on Telegram, with a companion web terminal, that charges 1% per successful trade (0.9% if you were referred) and pays 20% cashback in SOL to bot users. That puts a referred user’s effective fee around 0.72%, one of the lowest among the big Telegram bots. Its homepage claims $25B in lifetime volume and 2M lifetime users. The main trade-off is shared with every bot: the service can sign for the wallets it creates.

This review covers fees, features, custody, the referral program and who Trojan suits.

What is Trojan?

Trojan has two front ends:

  • Trojan on Solana, the Telegram bot. You paste a contract address, tap a buy amount, and it executes. It handles limit orders, DCA, copytrading, sniping, auto-buy, auto-sell and bundle buys.
  • Trojan Terminal at trojan.com, a web app that combines charts, a launchpad feed (“Trenches”), wallet tracking, copytrading and a perpetual futures page powered by Hyperliquid.

Both share the same reward system, the Arena, where trading earns “Gold” that moves you up ranks with higher cashback and referral shares.

Which chains does Trojan support?

For spot trading, only Solana. That’s a deliberate focus rather than a gap: the bot supports the main Solana venues and launchpads, and the terminal’s Explorer page lets you filter by DEX.

If your funds are elsewhere, the bot has a bridge, and the terminal links to deBridge. Gas is always paid in SOL, even if you trade with USDC or USD1, so keep a small SOL balance.

How much does Trojan charge?

Trojan’s docs and homepage don’t state the fee identically, so here’s how the pieces fit together. The bot FAQ lists a 1% fee and 20% cashback for all users. The trojanonsolana.com FAQ quotes 0.9%, dropping to 0.72% “with referral and cashback”. Those match if referred users pay 0.9% and cashback then returns 20% of that.

Token account rentAbout 0.002 SOL per new token, refunded when you close the account
Priority fee and MEV bribeSet by you, paid to validators

The Arena docs also advertise “up to 45%” cashback through quests and boosts, above the 35% shown on the top rank. Treat anything above the rank table as promotional.

Worked example: a referred user trades 10 SOL of volume in a day. Trojan’s fee is 0.09 SOL, and 20% cashback returns 0.018 SOL, so the net cost is 0.072 SOL. The same volume on a flat 1% bot with no cashback costs 0.1 SOL. Over a month of heavy trading, that 28% difference is real money.

Remember the costs Trojan doesn’t control: launchpad fees (Pump.fun and others), token taxes on Token-2022 tokens, and slippage. The docs suggest starting with 10–15% slippage on volatile tokens. That’s a tolerance, not a cost, but on thin pools you can lose more to slippage than to fees.

Key features

  • Fast buys and sells from a pasted contract address or link, with Auto Buy if you want no confirmation step.
  • Limit orders and DCA for entries and exits that don’t need you watching.
  • Copy trade from wallets you choose, with separate buy and sell settings.
  • Sniper for new pools and migrations off launchpads.
  • MEV protection, which waits for an MEV-protected slot and pays a validator tip from your gas settings. The docs suggest raising gas if transactions time out.
  • Sell Protection, which asks for confirmation before selling more than 75% of a position.
  • Backup bots, alternative Telegram bot handles that load your wallets and settings if the main bot is congested.
  • Jackpot, a draw every 48 hours funded with 10% of Trojan’s fees, which you enter with Gold. It’s a lottery, so don’t factor it into your trading costs.

How Trojan holds your keys

Trojan’s homepage describes itself as non-custodial and says it “never has controlling access” to your crypto. The mechanics deserve a closer look:

  • The bot generates wallets for you and signs trades when you press a button, with no wallet pop-up. To do that, the service must be able to use your key. That’s operational control, whatever the label says.
  • You can export keys whenever you want, from Settings → Wallets → Export Private Keys. That’s better than bots that show a key only once, and it means you can always move the wallet into Phantom.
  • Set a Secure Action Password (SAP) under Account Security. After that, exporting keys or withdrawing requires the password, so someone who hijacks your Telegram session can’t simply drain the wallet. The SAP can’t be reset, so set a hint you’ll remember.
  • The web terminal lets you log in with Phantom or a passkey. With a passkey, Trojan creates the wallet for you.

The practical rule is the same as for every bot. Keep a trading-only wallet in Trojan, sweep profits out regularly, and turn on Telegram two-step verification. Our explainer on whether Telegram trading bots are safe covers phishing clones and session hijacking in detail.

Trojan referral program

What the person you refer gets: a 10% discount on trading fees (0.9% instead of 1%), with nothing else required. The discount applies on top of their cashback.

What you earn: a share of your referees’ trading fees, paid daily in SOL to your trading wallet or a custom wallet you set. It goes 5 layers deep, so you also earn a smaller cut from the people your referrals bring in.

The headline percentage depends on which official page you read:

SourceReferrer share
Telegram bot rewards docsUp to 35% across 5 layers
trojanonsolana.com homepageUp to 45%
Terminal Arena, Honors I to IV27.5%, 32.5%, 42.5%, 47.5% total revenue share

The Honors level rises as your Arena rank goes up and you complete referral quests. The higher figures are the total across all five layers, not what you earn from one direct referral. Trojan’s homepage says it has paid out more than $65M in referral rewards.

Worked example: if your direct referrals trade 1,000 SOL of volume in a month at 0.9%, they pay 9 SOL in fees. Trojan doesn’t publish the per-layer split, so we can’t give an exact figure, but every 10 percentage points of share on that volume is worth 0.9 SOL.

To find your link, open the bot and choose Rewards from the main menu, or use the Referral System page in the terminal’s Arena menu. You can also share token deep links that open a specific token with your code attached.

Who is Trojan for?

Good fit:

  • Solana memecoin traders who want to trade from their phone in Telegram.
  • High-volume traders, for whom the 0.72% effective fee and cashback ranks make a measurable difference.
  • People who want one account for Solana spot and Hyperliquid-powered perps.

Probably skip it if:

  • You trade on Ethereum, Base or BSC. Trojan doesn’t support them. Look at Maestro or Banana Gun.
  • You prefer a full charting terminal. Compare Axiom, GMGN and Fomo. Trojan Terminal competes here too, but it’s newer.
  • Gamified ranks, quests and lotteries put you off. They’re optional, but they’re everywhere in the interface.

Downsides

  • Solana only for spot trading.
  • Confusing reward numbers: cashback and referral percentages differ between the bot docs, the homepage and the Arena, which makes the real rate hard to plan around.
  • The service can sign for your wallet, despite the non-custodial label.
  • Gamification (Gold, ranks, Jackpot) nudges you to trade more, which is rarely good for returns.
  • Slippage and launchpad fees can outweigh the fee savings on thin memecoins.

Verdict

Trojan is one of the cheapest large Telegram bots on Solana once you count the referral discount and the 20% cashback, and it has features for both quick phone trades and more structured strategies. Key export at any time and the Secure Action Password make its custody model more forgiving than bots that show your key once and never again.

If Solana is your chain, it’s a strong default. Join Trojan with a referral link to get the 10% fee discount, set your SAP before depositing, and keep your trading wallet small. For the full field, see our best Telegram trading bots comparison.

Frequently asked questions

What are Trojan's fees?

Trojan charges 1% on each successful trade, or 0.9% for users who signed up through a referral link. Bot users also get 20% cashback in SOL, which brings a referred user's effective fee to about 0.72%.

Does Trojan work on chains other than Solana?

Spot trading is Solana only. You can bring funds from other chains with the built-in bridge, and the web terminal adds perpetual futures powered by Hyperliquid.

How does the Trojan referral program work?

You share your link, and when people trade you earn a percentage of their fees, paid daily in SOL. It extends 5 layers deep, and your share rises with your Arena Honors level.

Is Trojan custodial?

Trojan calls itself non-custodial and lets you export your private keys at any time, but the bot signs trades on your behalf, so it has operational access to wallets you create in it. Keep only trading funds there.

What is the minimum to start trading on Trojan?

There is no set minimum, but Trojan recommends starting with at least $5 in SOL to cover priority tips and the roughly 0.002 SOL token account rent charged when you buy a new token.
