Key takeaways
- deBridge uses intents: you lock funds on the source chain and a solver pays you native assets on the destination, usually in under two minutes.
- Each order pays a flat fee in the source chain's gas token (0.001 ETH from Ethereum, Arbitrum or Base; 0.015 SOL from Solana) plus a 0.04% variable fee, with a solver margin of about 0.04% built into the quote.
- The flat fee makes small transfers expensive: around 2.8% on $100, but about 0.11% on $10,000.
- Points: 100 per $1 of protocol fees; referrers earn 25% of their referrals' points. Season 3 has run since October 2025 with no end date announced.
deBridge is a cross-chain trading protocol that moves assets between 18 chains, including Solana and TRON, using intents rather than liquidity pools. You pay a flat fee in the source chain’s gas token plus 0.04%, a solver delivers native assets on the destination chain, and most transfers settle in under two minutes. Each dollar of protocol fees also earns 100 deBridge points in the current season.
How does deBridge work?
deBridge’s bridging product is DLN, the deBridge Liquidity Network. It works like a limit order across chains:
- You create an order on the source chain: “I give 1,000 USDC on Arbitrum, I want at least X USDC on Base.” Your tokens are locked in the DLN contract.
- Solvers (market makers) watch for orders. One of them fills yours by sending you the requested asset on the destination chain from its own inventory.
- deBridge’s messaging layer confirms the fill, and the solver claims your locked funds on the source chain.
Because solvers use their own capital, there is no big pool of user deposits sitting in a bridge contract. deBridge calls this “0-TVL” and presents it as its main security argument: a pool that doesn’t exist can’t be drained. You also receive real native assets (actual USDC on Base, SOL on Solana), not a wrapped IOU.
Solvers only hold a small set of reserve assets: ETH, wETH, USDC and USDT on TRON. If you bridge something else, the app swaps it into a reserve asset on the source chain first and swaps again on arrival. That adds slippage, so bridging stablecoins or ETH directly is cheapest.
Which chains does deBridge support?
As of September 2026, deBridge’s docs list 18 chains for DLN: Ethereum, Solana, Arbitrum, Base, Optimism, Polygon, BNB Chain, Avalanche, Linea, TRON, HyperEVM, Monad, MegaETH, Robinhood Chain, Arc, Injective, Cronos and Story.
Solana and TRON are the notable ones. Many EVM-focused bridges don’t cover them, and deBridge has been one of the main routes between Solana and EVM chains for years.
How much does deBridge cost?
Every order pays two protocol fees, per the fee structure docs:
- Flat fee: paid in the source chain’s native token. It goes to deBridge validators.
- Variable fee: 4 basis points (0.04%) of the input amount.
On top of that, the quote includes a solver margin of about 0.04% (the solver’s profit) and operating expenses, the gas the solver spends to fill and claim, usually a few cents on L2s. You also pay normal gas to submit your transaction. If an order is cancelled, both protocol fees are refunded.
Flat fees by source chain (as of September 2026):
| Source chain | Flat fee |
|---|---|
| Ethereum, Arbitrum, Base, Optimism, Linea, MegaETH, Robinhood | 0.001 ETH |
| Solana | 0.015 SOL |
| BNB Chain | 0.005 BNB |
| Avalanche | 0.05 AVAX |
| Polygon | 0.5 POL |
| HyperEVM | 0.05 WHYPE |
| TRON | 4 TRX |
| Arc | 1 USDC |
What that means in dollars
Assume ETH at about $2,700, so the 0.001 ETH flat fee is $2.70. Bridging USDC from Arbitrum to Base:
| Amount | Flat fee | 0.04% fee | Solver margin (≈0.04%) | Approx. total | As % of amount |
|---|---|---|---|---|---|
| $100 | $2.70 | $0.04 | $0.04 | $2.80 | 2.8% |
| $1,000 | $2.70 | $0.40 | $0.40 | $3.55 | 0.36% |
| $10,000 | $2.70 | $4.00 | $4.00 | $10.75 | 0.11% |
| $50,000 | $2.70 | $20.00 | $20.00 | $42.75 | 0.09% |
Totals include a few cents of solver gas. The pattern is clear: deBridge gets cheap as size grows and is poor value for small transfers. Below a few hundred dollars, an aggregator like Jumper will usually find a cheaper route; see Jumper vs deBridge for when each wins.
How to bridge with deBridge, step by step
- Open the app. Go to deBridge and confirm the address is app.debridge.com. The old app.debridge.finance domain now redirects there. If you want to use a referral link, open it before your first visit: deBridge only counts referrals for wallets that have never used the app.
- Connect wallets. Connect an EVM wallet for EVM chains and a Solana wallet (Phantom, Solflare, Backpack) if Solana is either side. You can also paste a recipient address instead of connecting a second wallet.
- Set source and destination. Pick the source chain and token, then the destination chain and token. Bridging USDC or ETH avoids extra swap legs.
- Enter the amount and check the quote. The app shows what you’ll receive and the fees. Make sure you hold enough of the source chain’s native token for the flat fee on top of gas: bridging from Ethereum needs 0.001 ETH plus gas, from Solana 0.015 SOL plus fees.
- Check the recipient. Especially when bridging between EVM and Solana, confirm the destination address is one you control on that chain.
- Approve and confirm. For ERC-20 tokens you sign an approval, then the order transaction.
- Track the order. Open your order history at app.debridge.com/orders. Most orders fill within a minute or two; the status changes to fulfilled once the solver delivers.
What if a deBridge order is stuck?
An order sits unfilled when no solver finds it profitable, usually because the price moved after you signed or the quote was stale. deBridge’s FAQ says orders expire after roughly 5 to 15 minutes if unfulfilled.
- Find the order in app.debridge.com/orders and check its status.
- If it’s expired or clearly stuck, use the cancel option. Per the cancellation docs, cancellation is a transaction on the destination chain, signed by the address set as the order’s destination authority, which is usually your wallet.
- A cross-chain message then unlocks your funds on the source chain. You get the full amount back, including the flat and variable fees.
If the cancel option doesn’t appear or the refund doesn’t arrive, contact deBridge support through its official Discord with the order ID.
How do deBridge points work?
According to deBridge’s points docs, you earn 100 points for every $1 of protocol fees paid on cross-chain orders. Same-chain swaps don’t earn points in Season 3. Using the $1,000 example above, about $3.10 of protocol fees (flat plus variable) works out to roughly 310 points.
- Loyalty multiplier: wallets with at least two transactions in Season 1 or Season 2 get 1.1x on Season 3 points.
- Referrals: referrers earn 25% of the points generated by users they bring in. A referred user must be completely new to deBridge and arrive through the link on their first visit. Self-referrals are excluded.
- Checking points: connect your wallet at explorer.debridge.com/statistic.
Some third-party guides say referred users receive a 5% points bonus. deBridge’s current docs only describe the 25% referrer share, so don’t count on the bonus.
Season status and DBR
Past seasons have converted to DBR, deBridge’s Solana-based token (10 billion total supply). Season 1 went to about 491,000 wallets at launch in October 2024. The Season 2 snapshot was taken on 10 October 2025, and 300 million DBR (3% of supply) was claimable from 19 November to 19 December 2025, per the deBridge Foundation.
Season 3 has run since then. As of late September 2026, deBridge has not announced an end date or a Season 3 allocation. The docs say the conversion rate is announced when a season concludes. Points are a bonus on bridging you’d do anyway, not a reason to generate fees: at 2.8% on a $100 transfer, farming with small orders is an expensive way to buy points of unknown value.
Is deBridge safe?
deBridge says it has had more than 25 security audits and runs a bug bounty on Immunefi, and its 0-TVL design means there’s no pooled liquidity to attack. The remaining risks are the ones every intent bridge shares:
- Contract risk on the DLN contracts while your funds are locked, typically for seconds to minutes.
- Messaging layer risk: deBridge’s validator network confirms fills and cancellations.
- Approval risk: approve exact amounts and revoke old allowances periodically.
- Phishing: use app.debridge.com only, and ignore support DMs.
Who should use deBridge?
Good fit: transfers of roughly $1,000 and up, especially between Solana, TRON and EVM chains; anyone who wants native assets on arrival; users who want points on bridging they already do.
Skip it for: small transfers under a few hundred dollars, where the flat fee dominates; chains deBridge doesn’t list. For those, an aggregator that compares many bridges is the better tool; our Jumper guide walks through one. If you’re swapping on a single chain rather than bridging, CoW Swap offers MEV protection on Ethereum and several L2s.
Frequently asked questions
How long does a deBridge transfer take?
deBridge's docs say most trades complete in under two minutes and small amounts often in seconds. Large amounts can take longer because solvers wait for extra block confirmations.
How much does deBridge charge?
A flat fee paid in the source chain's native token (0.001 ETH on Ethereum and most ETH L2s, 0.015 SOL on Solana) plus 0.04% of the amount. A solver margin of roughly 0.04% and gas costs are built into the quote.
What if my deBridge order is never filled?
Unfilled orders can be cancelled from the destination chain, and the locked funds plus all protocol fees are refunded on the source chain. You need a little gas on the destination chain to send the cancellation.
Are deBridge points still active?
Yes. Season 3 started after the Season 2 snapshot on 10 October 2025, and deBridge has not announced an end date. Past seasons converted to DBR, but future distributions are not guaranteed.
Does deBridge support Solana?
Yes. Solana is one of the main supported chains, alongside Ethereum, Arbitrum, Base, BNB Chain, TRON, HyperEVM and others.
